Succeeding as a massage therapist isn’t  easy! Yes, we love what we do, but where is the manual that explains how to build a jam-packed practice? Finding clients, making new clients repeat ones, maintaining confidence in your skills ... there is so much to it all.

Jason Garcia, the Massage Professor, is here to help you learn the skills you need to thrive in your own massage career. His practical, everyday approach in seeing his clients has helped him find success in just about any and all massage-related scenarios. From knowing what to ask clients on their first visit to having the confidence to rebook them all, he finds success in every session he provides.

Jason Garcia has been a massage educator for over fifteen years and currently teaches at the McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, CA. He is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. Outside of teaching Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Sports Massage, he has developed his own original classes that focus on professional skills. He is also the Educational Coach at Psoas Massage + Bodywork where he conducts most of his hands-on massages. Jason lives in San Francisco with his wife Melanie, their three daughters, and their dog Simon.
